You're doing a little bouchin', are ya?! With whom, prey tell?!!! Come on, Jason, use those story-telling skills for good-- amuse us, friend!! :) (I am assuming, then, that you and sweet Marty did break up... how did he take the news? Poor Marty.)
Owen and I have spent too much time together, as of late. Lots of pet sitting and co-habitating. It is has been a lot-- and sometimes has really tried my patience. Still, I am trying to see his sunnier qualities and be patient with his less sunny features. Our relationship is a work in progress.
Two of my friends from college came down to visit this weekend-- that was a train wreck. One of them told me that after she was down to visit me last month, she starting cutting herself again and had to go into emergency out-patient therapy... as a direct result of the tough questions I asked her about herself and marriage. Wow... the word "whoops" doesn't cut it. I bet her husband hates me. So, needless to say, when things started to get dicey yesterdya, I was a little anxious. However, things ended pretty okay, though I am totally exhausted from worry and managing my friends' mulitple breakdowns. Oh, gosh. I am really looking forward to some down time... unforutnatly, Owen comes back to the house tonight, so we'll see..
... by the by, Pete(r), the blessing ceremony was a big hit!!...
... I am pinch hitting right now on a weekend MWH crisis line shift. I am glad that I haven't had a call in the two hours I have been here-- because hopefully it means that the women we serve in the six county area are safe, at present-- but I am bored out of my mind. I would kill for a book right now...
so that's my news. What's up with you?
Btb, Jason, kudos to you for making it so hard, as of late, for Peter to bitch about you. You ditch your Dad on your last night in town to come to Peter's birthday party, you make nice all night with Craig and Scott Sharp, and you make your (virtual) presence known on the blog. Fair play to jaawalla.
Take the penalty, Peter, if you are bitching because you can't bitch about your just-graduated roommate. Why are you always trying to create conflict where there is none?! ;)
